TERMS OF SERVICE
Wisewear

Please read these Terms carefully. By downloading, installing, or using the Wearwise app, you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. ABOUT WISEWEAR
Wearwise is a personal wardrobe and outfit planning application ("the App"), operated by Annie Lummis ("we", "us", "our"), based in the United Kingdom.

2. ELIGIBILITY
You must be at least 13 years old to use Wisewear. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have your parent or guardian's permission.
3. YOUR ACCOUNT
You must create an account to use Wisewear. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at hello@wearwise.co.uk if you suspect unauthorised access. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. FREE AND PAID FEATURES
Free Tier
Wisewear offers a free tier with access to core features up to specified usage limits, which are displayed within the app and may change from time to time.
Wisewear Pro
Wisewear Pro is a paid subscription that unlocks unlimited access to all features.
Pricing is displayed in the App and may vary by region. Prices include applicable VAT.
Billing occurs monthly or annually depending on the plan you select, charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account.
Free trial — where offered, you will not be charged until the trial period ends. You can cancel before the trial ends to avoid any charge.
Cancellation — you may cancel at any time via your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you retain access to Pro features until then.
Refunds — subscription fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law. For App Store purchases, Apple's standard refund policy applies. For Play Store purchases, Google's standard refund policy applies.
Price changes — we will give you reasonable advance notice of any price change. Continued use after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.
Founding Member
Where we offer a Founding Member lifetime licence, this grants lifetime access to Wisewear Pro features for a one-time fee. This is a personal, non-transferable licence.
5. ACCEPTABLE USE
You agree not to use Wearwise to:
- Upload content that is illegal, offensive, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights
- Attempt to access, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the App's code, servers, or infrastructure
- Use automated tools to access or extract data from the App
- Attempt to circumvent any subscription limits or access controls
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.
6. YOUR CONTENT
You retain ownership of all content you upload to Wisewear (photos, wardrobe items, outfits, etc.).
By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store and display that content within the App solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. We do not claim ownership of your content and do not use it for any other purpose without your explicit consent.
7. AI-GENERATED CONTENT
Outfit suggestions and style advice generated by the AI features are for personal styling purposes only. They do not constitute professional fashion, retail, or financial advice. AI-generated content may occasionally be inaccurate — use your own judgement.
8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content within Wearwise that is not your personal content — including the app design, code, graphics, logos, and text — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any part of the App without our prior written consent.
9. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Wisewear uses third-party services including Clerk (authentication), Anthropic (AI features), and Open-Meteo (weather data). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party service practices.
10. AVAILABILITY AND CHANGES
We aim to keep Wisewear available and running smoothly but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, modify, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. If we discontinue Wearwise entirely, we will provide at least 30 days' notice and offer a pro-rata refund for any unused paid subscription period.
11. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
Wisewear is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted, that AI suggestions will be accurate, or that any defects will be corrected. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid for your subscription in the 12 months prior to the claim, or (b) £50. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. If you are a UK consumer, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.
13. TERMINATION
You may stop using Wisewear at any time and delete your account within app settings or by emailing hello@wisewearwardrobe.co.uk We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms. If we terminate without cause, we will refund any unused pro-rata subscription fees.
14. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the United Kingdom where you live.
If you have a complaint, please contact hello@wisewearwardrobe.co.uk first. We will always try to resolve issues informally.
15. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you via the app or by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
